Restoring purchases

Purchases are linked to your Apple ID. If you've switched devices, deleted the app, or need to re-access your purchases:

1 Open Yakable on your device.
2 Tap the settings icon (top right of the home screen).
3 Tap Packs & Purchases.
4 Tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID that made the original purchase.

If restoring doesn't work, contact us at support@yakable.app with your order number from Apple.

General

Date Night, This or That, and Point at the Person are always free. Pub Dinner with Mates, Work Drinks, and Movies & TV Edition are one-time purchases. No subscription, no recurring charges.

Each dinner-style pack has 54 questions across three courses (18 per course). Games packs vary. New packs and additional questions will be added over time.

No. All questions are bundled in the app. No internet required during play.

Gameplay

Dinner packs have three courses (Entrée, Main, Dessert), filters, and follow-up prompts ("Go Deeper" / "Keep it Light"). They're designed for longer, evolving conversations. Games are flat decks you tap through — no courses, no filters, great for a quick group moment.

For dinner packs, the app displays a notice and loops the pool. For games, the deck reshuffles automatically. You won't see the same question twice in a row.

Work-Safe mode removes any questions that might be awkward or inappropriate in a professional or mixed-company setting. Safe to use with colleagues or people you don't know well.

Spice Level controls how direct or personal the questions get — from Mild (suitable for any group) to Fiery (for close friends or couples who want to go there). You can change the level any time before or during a session.

During a dinner pack session, the current question is displayed on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. This is useful if someone else is holding the phone or you want to put it on the table for everyone to see. Live Activity is supported on iPhone only.

Purchases & Privacy

Yes. Open Settings inside the app and tap "Restore Purchases". Purchases are linked to your Apple ID and restore on any device signed in with the same account — even after deleting and reinstalling the app.

All data — your filter preferences and session state — is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to a server. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
